After 75 years Erik Lindbergh tries to emulate his grand father's flight

Washington, Usa - He took off yesterday for the first leg San Diego-St. Louis

Yesterday, Erik Lindbergh, the 36-year old grandson of the famous Charles, took off from San Diego heading to San Louis aboard of a Lancair Columbia 300, named "New Spirit of St Louis". After San Louis, the young Lindbergh will get to New York, and after 20 hour flight he is supposed to reach Paris, as his grandfather Charles did in 1927. (m/cesn)
