At 13,53 UTC, Steve Fossett crossed 116.42.16 east longitude south of Northam, Western Australia, making him the first solo balloonist to circumnavigate the globe. Fossett will continue to fly eastward until finding the optimal landing situation. Fossett took off 13 days and 12 hours ago from Northam and it took him 6 days less than expected to fly round-the-world on his "Bud Light Spirit of Freedom"...
