First humanitarian mission in a difficult environment for JASDF
Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar - Japanese Air Force is witness to the changed international role of Tokyo
Japanese Air Self-Defence Force (JASDF) has attended humanitarian missions in a high risk level territory after a war (Iraq) for the first time after II World War. This event represents a further leap forward in the evolution of Japan's international role by cooperating with the United States. A Japanese C-130 has carried large amounts of necessity goods for local population.
