Heli Expo 2004: Thales produces a new human-machine interface
Las Vegas, USA - Through the union of navigation and digital map systems
Thales has found out a new solution in order to lower pilot workload and to improve quality and safety of flight, by the union between navigation system (its FMS) and digital maps. The FMS is the one used aboard of the A-109. This combination represents a leap forward in designing effective human-machine interfaces and remarkably increases crews' situational awareness.
