FAA STARTS FLIGHT SAFETY INSPECTIONS IN TAIWAN

TAIWAN, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) yesterday started a three-day flight safety check tour of Taiwan. The inspection will be focused on Taiwan's aviation safety-related legal system and it aims at verifying that the two Taiwan carriers that operate U.S.-bound flight services -- China Airlines (CAL) and EVA Airways follow the rules about flight safety.
