RUSSIAN AIR FORCE WONTS TO MODERNISE ITS FLEET

MOSCOW, Gen. Anatoly Kornukov, its chief, said that the Russian air force will gradually modernise its aging fleet over the next few years, after a decade of funding shortages that have plagued the force: between 80 and 100 MiG-29, Su-24, Su-25, Su-27 and Su-30 aircraft will be fitted with new aviation and weapons control systems and other equipment, but Kornukov don't reported the program's cost.
