MALAYSIA TO BUY NEW COPTERS

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, The Malaysian government will acquire six more new helicopters to replace the navy's old Westland Wasp aircraft. Malaysia, moreover, will receive six GKN Westland Super Lynx helicopters in 2004. Defence Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak added that "several models have been proposed but we cannot reveal what the models are as yet".
