Un aereo Canadair della Protezione civile è precipitato mentre stava spegnendo un incendio molto esteso o nella Valle Subequana vicino a Sant'Erasmo (L'Aquila). Il pilota è morto, gravemente ferito l'altro occupante. La notizia è stata data ai locali Carabinieri tramite una telefonata nella quale una voce concitata avvertiva di esserne stata testimone.
