Vietnam to build a new international airport on Phu Quoc Island

Hanoi, Vietnam - The project has a value of 943 million dollars

Construction of the Phu Quoc International Airport will start in late November, according to the Phu Quoc district People’s Committee. The airport will be built in Phu Quoc district, southern Kien Giang province at a cost of around 943 million dollars. The airport is scheduled to be put into operation by 2010 to receive around 2.5 million passengers per year.
