Amadeus acquires Karavel's tour operator

Madrid, Spain - For EUR 60m in cash

The Spanish travel reservation, Amadeus, said its Internet unit Opodo acquired French tour operator Karavel for EUR 60m in cash. Karavel owns the travel company Promovacances, one of the largest French internet-based travel companies.
