Question time on social and political situation in Togo
Rome, Italy - By senator Luigi Viviani (DS-L'Ulivo) and other senators
Italian senator Viviani asked Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs to make clear Italian Government position in front of Togo’s crisis sparked by the death of President Gnassingbé Eyadéma and exacerbated by the election of his son Faure Gnassingbé to succeed him. Italian Government is expected to explain which kind of humanitarian steps intends to resort to especially to aid the refugees.
