"Brexit": Johnson loses his majority
Stopping the EU "no-deal" exit would destroy any chance of negotiating a new agreement
Today, on September 3, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson lost his majority following the passage of Tory Phillip Lee with the Liberal Democrats who declared: "the government pursues a 'Brexit' without principles, putting lives and welfare at risk of people". During the speech in front of the reopening of the Chamber after the closing authorized by the queen (see AVIONEWS) the premier reiterated that the "Brexit" would allow Great Britain to start better exchanges with the US and criticized "anti-Americanism" by Jeremy Corbyn a leader of the Labor opposition. He also added that a draft law blocking the "Brexit no-deal" would destroy any chance of negotiating a new agreement and force him to beg in Brussels for a further submission that would not be granted.
Mina Andreeva, European Commission spokeswoman, said: "A 'Brexit' without agreement is a very obvious possibility and on Wednesday at the college of Commissioners we will launch a final appeal so that everyone is ready in the event of a divorce without agreement".
