Plane lands in emergency and suspended flights in Australia
Strong gusts of wind until tonight
During the night between September 19 and 20 in Melbourne the strong winds caused chaos: an airplane from the United States was forced to make an emergency landing at the "Avalon" airport where passengers had to wait more than three hours for this morning before the aircraft took off again to go to the "Tullamarine" airport, hit by gusts of 100 km/h speed.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM), an executive agency of the Australian Government responsible for providing weather services, has warned across Victoria and the Gippsland region.
Delays in flight connections should continue until this night and passengers were asked to check the airport website or contact the airline for flight confirmation.
