Suspended training flights in the area
Today the US military has interrupted some training flights in northern Japan after an F-16 plane accidentally launched an inert bomb. The US aviation has suspended exercises near the Misawa air base in Aomori prefecture, but fortunately no damage, casualties or injuries have been reported. In a note from United States Forces Japan (the set of US military forces located in the "Rising Sun" based at "Yokota Air" about 30 km west of Tokyo), said: "USFJ takes the security and Misawa suspended flights until further notice.
