"Brexit": A big win for Johnson
Absolute majority and irreversible exit from the EU
Overwhelming electoral victory of Boris Johnson: having obtained the mandate, now the next step is the "Brexit". The conservative party has taken more than 360 seats out of 650, while the work of Jeremy Corbyn is cashing in 200. Johnson returns to Downing Street and he goes to Queen Elizabeth after the extraordinary result. A voting result that translates into work at its worst in decades, but Corbyn has not resigned. "We will go ahead with the 'Brexit' without ifs and buts, but we will go out on January 31 together", said Johnson. "It is the greatest victory of the 80s, when many of you were not even born. Now let's join the country and thanks to all those who voted for the conservatives for the first time. We will never take you for granted".
The exit from the European Union is now irreversible and EU Prime Minister Charles Michel commented: "I congratulate Boris Johnson and the aspect that the British Parliament ratifies the first possible agreement on 'Brexit'; the EU is ready to discuss about the future relationships".
Meanwhile, the Pound takes off in exchange for the Dollar and the Euro.
