AVIONEWS celebrates the Italian Republic Day tomorrow

The agency will reopen regularly next Wednesday on June 3, 2020

AVIONEWS informs its subscribers, reporters and fans of social networks that tomorrow on June 2, 2020, it will remain closed to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the Italian Republic.

The agency will reopen regularly with the normal publication of the news next Wednesday 3.

The management and the editorial staff wish everyone a Happy Republic Day.

This year the anniversary will be a bit special: there will not be the traditional parade on via dei Fori Imperiali, nor the initiatives that are usually set on this particular occasion (opening of the Quirinale Gardens).

Tonight there will be a concert at the Presidential Palace to remember the victims of the coronavirus and an event at Montecitorio tomorrow.

The head of State Sergio Mattarella almost certainly will place tomorrow a crown at the Unknown Soldier in Piazza Venezia in Rome and there will be the overflight of the "Frecce Tricolori" aircraft (which for this particular occasion have made a tour of Italy in the capital cities of the Region). It seems that the President of the Republic is planning a private visit to Codogno (near Lodi, the city where the pandemic has begun) and one to the National Institute of Infectious Diseases "Lazzaro Spallanzani" in Rome, two significant stages of the period we are experiencing and facing in Italy.
