Covid, 3 tests for plane passengers arriving in Beijing
This measure refers to travellers from abroad
3 is normally considered the perfect number: perhaps this is not the reasoning that authorities in Beijing made, but from now on there will be three tests that will have to be carried out to certify the presence or absence of coronavirus infection in case of travellers arriving in the Chinese capital (read also the article published by AVIONEWS). Those who take a plane and reach the city of the former celestial empire will be subjected to these repeated molecular tests, as reported in last hours by local media. But how exactly will the new procedure work? The traveler arriving in Beijing from abroad will immediately undergo the first swab and must also present a certificate containing the negative result in the five days prior to boarding the aircraft.
Another obligation will be to sign a health document before the second swab at customs; finally, it will be the turn of the third test, at the end of the quarantine period envisaged by China. According to reports from the officials of the Asian country, there were just under 10 thousand people housed in the sites used for isolation, while about 3 thousand were under medical observation. The medical news was made public following a resurgence of the virus over the weekend in Qingdao city, China's Shandong province, with 12 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 reported so far.
