Singapore Airlines gets back to longest flight in the world
Air link covers 15,000 kilometers to New York
The longest air connection in the world: in the case of Singapore Airlines this is not an exaggerated statement, but a fact. November 2020 should be the right time to get back to this flight which is one of the pride of the Asian airline and which could not fail to be suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic (read also the article published by AVIONEWS). As pointed out yesterday evening Thursday October 22, 2020 by the executive vice-president of the company, Lee Lik Hsin, the connection should not remain blocked for long.
It's about the route that connects Singapore and the "John Fitzgerald Kennedy International Airport" of New York; the distance is clearly not indifferent, over 15 thousand kilometers which represent the longest of all. Singapore Airlines does not want to give up on it and the planes will in all probability return to take off to reach the United States on November 9th: the goal is to restore the carrier's global network as soon as possible and the American one is still considered a key market. In a few days there will be three weekly return flights between the small Asian Nation and the “Big Apple”, again with an A-350/900 ariplane.
