USA: United Airlines postpones flights to Asia

It postpones the resumption of some important routes to next March

The US carrier United Airlines has postponed the resumption of some air connections to Asia until March 28, 2024, which were supposed to start with the beginning of the "Winter 2023" season. These include flights from New York-Newark to Hong Kong and Mumbai, and from San Francisco to the Indian airport of New Delhi. The decision follows the recent reduction of some routes to China, which have also been postponed until next year.

It emerges from the latest monitoring conducted by the aviation sector analysis company "Cirium". The analysis shows changes to the flight schedule to the airports of Hong Kong and "Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj" in Mumbai, as well as to "Indira Gandhi" in New Delhi. Except for operations in Mumbai, the routes to other airports will represent a resumption of flights after years of block imposed by the pandemic.
