UK: huge order of missiles

These are the AGM 179 Jagm (Joint Air-to-Ground Missile)

The US State Department has approved the sale to the United Kingdom of approximately 3000 AGM 179 Jagm (Joint Air-to-Ground Missile) air-to-ground missiles, developed by the US Group Lockheed Martin. The value of the deal is 957.4 million dollars. The announcement came from the Agency for Defense Cooperation and Security. These are weapons that can be mounted on board planes and helicopters.

In fact, London will allocate these armaments to the fleets of Boeing AH-64E Apache and Bell AH-1Z Viper rotary-wing attack aircraft. The Jagm missiles will replace the current AGM-114 Hellfire, also produced by the US Lockheed Martin, which currently equip the British military helicopter fleets. Over the past year, both Poland and the Netherlands have announced their intention to purchase this new generation of weapons.
