USA: lost child, found at airport

Minor boarded on the wrong flight: he was supposed to spend Christmas with his grandmother

US carrier Spirit Airlines put a six-year-old boy on the wrong plane and the child, who was traveling alone, ended up at an airport four hours from his correct destination. After a few hours of apprehension, the little boy was tracked down and returned to his relatives, who were waiting for him to spend the Christmas holidays together.

The protagonist of the story is named Casper, who had to go to visit his grandmother in Florida. The minor had departed from Philadelphia International Airport, Pennsylvania, which serves more than 130 destinations worldwide with 500 takeoffs daily. He should have landed a few hours later at the Fort Myers airport, where his relatives waited for him in vain for hours. In fact, the child ended up in Orlando, also in Florida.

"I ran up to the flight attendant and asked, 'Where is my grandson? Was he delivered to you in Philadelphia?'" But the stewardess told her she had "no children on board," said her grandmother, Maria Ramos. Fortunately, the nephew was able to call the woman immediately after landing. Spirit Airlines apologized and offered to reimburse the grandmother for the flight to Orlando, where she had met the child before taking him home with her.
