Hurricane "Katrina" (3): two Italian Air Force C-130 planes to bring aid to the evacuees

Rome, Italy - All the world offered to send field hospitals, doctors and tents

Italian Civil Defence Department, following an instruction issued by Italian Government, set up two Italian Air Force Hercules C-130 planes which will take off to bring to the hurricane "Katrina" affected zones, generators, draining pumps, amphibian forces, tents and logistics and evacuees support experts. Meanwhile even Tokyo will give US Red Cross USD 200,000 and will send tents, blankets, generators...
