Satisfaction by its president Antonio Maria Vasile

The growth trend for the Apulian airport network continues. In the first four months of this year, in fact, the airports of Bari, Brindisi and Foggia have recorded important numbers. There were 2,927,000 passengers arriving and departing at the three airports with an increase of 13.9% compared to the 2,570,984 of the same period last year.

In detail, national scheduled passengers were 1,768,651 equal to 8.8% compared to the first four months of 2024; even more significant is the growth of international scheduled traffic which with 1,540,019 passengers grew by 21.7% compared to the first four months of last year; finally, international charter passengers more than tripled, which in the period under examination were 14,532.

"The picture of these first four months of the year –declared the president of Aeroporti di Puglia, Antonio Maria Vasile– is the right response to the incessant work carried out by Aeroporti di Puglia and the Region up to now. We will continue to invest in infrastructure, sustainability and innovation to guarantee passengers an increasingly efficient and comfortable experience. Our commitment will always be constant so that the airports of Puglia are not only gateways to the territory, but also development engines for the entire region. Puglia, in fact, once again confirms itself as a strategic tourist destination".
