Jetstar Airways and IndiGo sign new code-share agreement

Towards 14 destinations across Australia and New Zealand

IndiGo customers will have access to 14 Jetstar Airways destinations across Australia and New Zealand as part of a new code-share agreement between the two carriers.

The agreement simplifies travel for customers of India’s largest airline by allowing them to create a single booking for journeys from India to Australia and New Zealand across IndiGo and Jetstar flights.

Placing IndiGo’s code on Jetstar operated routes will enable connections to Jetstar flights departing Singapore, Bangkok and Phuket for onward travel to cities including Sydney, the Gold Coast and Auckland.

The travels will be operated from Monday, 1 September 2025.

Jetstar Airways is expanding its international network with two new routes between Australia and the Philippines launching later this year.

From 27 November 2025, travellers can fly direct from Perth to the capital of Manila year-round, and seasonal flights from Brisbane to Cebu will take off from 3 December 2025.

The new services will operate three times a week using Jetstar’s next-generation A-321LR aircraft.

The launch of these new services is part of Jetstar’s broader commitment to delivering great value travel experiences across the Asia-Pacific, with the airline launching or announcing 20 new domestic and international routes since June 2024.

This expansion is being driven by Jetstar’s investment in new A-321LR and A-320neo aircraft, alongside redeployment of its wide-body B-787 Dreamliners on longer-haul services.
