Embraer to promote the KC-390 aircraft at MSPO in Poland

The Defense Exhibition will take place in September (2-5)

Embraer, a global reference in aerospace, announced its debut participation at MSPO, Poland’s premier international defense industry exhibition, taking place in Kielce, September 2-5. As part of its growing presence in Europe, the company will be actively promoting its cutting-edge KC-390 Millennium multi-mission aircraft to Poland and key stakeholders in the region.

Its participation at MSPO also reaffirms its commitment to develop long-term cooperation with the Polish defense and aerospace industry. The company is actively building a robust European ecosystem around the KC-390, fostering synergies in areas such as training, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), and Research and Development.

The industry’s exhibition in Poland underscores its strategic vision for Europe, where the KC-390 is quickly becoming the tactical transport platform of choice among NATO countries.

Since entering operation with the Brazilian Air Force in 2019, the Portuguese Air Force in 2023 and, most recently with the Hungarian Air Force in 2024, the KC-390 Millennium, this 21st century aircraft, has been chosen by 11 Air Forces worldwide, including eight European countries and seven NATO members.

The KC-390 can carry more payload (26 tons) compared to other medium-sized military transport aircraft and flies faster (470 knots) and farther, being capable of performing a wide range of missions (transporting and dropping cargo and troops, medical evacuation, search and rescue, firefighting and humanitarian missions), operating on temporary or unpaved runways (packed earth, soil and gravel). The aircraft configured with air-to-air refuelling equipment, with the designation KC-390, has already proven its aerial refuelling capacity both as a tanker and as a receiver, in this case by receiving fuel from another KC-390 using pods installed under the wings.
