Umbria Airport: traffic-data in September

Growth +20% compared to the same month in 2024

The Umbria–Perugia International Airport "San Francesco d'Assisi" announces that in September 74,757 passengers transited through the airport, an increase of +20% compared with the 62,532 recorded in the same month of 2024.

It should be noted that, despite 718 aircraft movements (+2% compared with 706 in 2024), passenger traffic increased by twenty percentage points, thanks to the excellent load factors recorded on all routes across the network. The month just concluded also represents the busiest September in the airport's history, surpassing the previous record of 2023, when passengers numbered 63,189.

Going into detail, 66% of passenger traffic was generated by international flights, while 33% related to domestic connections. General aviation traffic recorded 233 aircraft movements.

Analyzing the data for the first nine months of the year, 513,512 passengers were recorded, an increase of +20% compared with the same period of 2024 —a record year for "San Francesco d'Assisi"— when passengers numbered 426,982.

At the end of October the flight schedule for the 2025 Summer season will conclude, which sees up to 17 routes and 114 weekly flights in operation.
