USA, La Rolls-Royce si è aggiudicata un ordine del valore di 400 miliardi per fornire i motori ad alcuni aerei ordinati dall'American Airlines e dall'American Eagle. Si tratta di sei motori Trent 800, che alimenteranno 6 Boeing 777 dell'American Airlines, più sei motori AE 3007 per altrettanti Embraer ERJ 135 dell'American Eagle.
