USA: RUMSFELD PROPORRA' AL CONGRESSO DI RIDURRE LA FLOTTA DEI BOMBARDIERI B-1

WASHINGTON, Secondo fonti del Pentagono, Donald Rumsfeld, segretario americano alla Difesa, sarebbe intenzionato a proporre al Congresso di ridurre di un terzo la flotta dei bombardieri B-1. Sembra inoltre che Rumsfeld vorrebbe poi eliminare del tutto i bombardieri in dotazione alle basi della Guardia Nazionale in Georgia e Kansas, ma le delegazioni parlamentari dei due stati sarebbero contrarie.
