BAHREIN, Dalle informazioni fornite dalle scatole nere dell'Airbus A320 della Gulf Air è emerso che la velocità dell'aereo in avvicinamento all'aeroporto di Manama fosse più sostenuta del normale. Ciò potrebbe aver rappresentato un fattore di notevole importanza nell'incidente. I dati delle scatole nere sono stati forniti dal National Transportation Safety Board che ha partecipato alle indagini.
