USA, Secondo i piani di mobilitazione generale, oltre 5000 riservisti, fra piloti e controllori di volo sono stati richiamati in servizio dal Pentagono. Fra questi principalmente gli appartenenti alla Guardia Nazionale, corpo aeronautico, e all'Air Force Reserve, che saranno chiamati, "in difesa della patria", a mantenere lo stato di allerta sui cieli statunitensi.
