L'applicazione di nuove tecnologie per la rivelazione di potenziali incendi a bordo consentirà a breve l'installazione sugli aerei di sensori che, anziché il fumo od il calore, rileveranno le microscopiche particelle che si liberano nell'aria quando un materiale viene eccessivamente riscaldato.
