Il 18 giugno il 155° Gruppo del 50° Stormo basato a Piacenza – S. Damiano, ha presentato alla stampa specializzata un Tornado 50 – 53 (MM.7017) con colorazione commemorativa per ricordare i 60 anni dalla sua costituzione, ricorrenza che non ha potuto festeggiare nel 2001 a causa di impegni operativi.
