AER LINGUS STRIKE GROUNDED THOUSANDS OF PASSENGERS

IRELAND, An Aer Lingus cabin crew members 24 hour strike for more pay grounded more than 200 flights. The airline responded rebooking some passengers on other airlines and refunding booked tickets. BBC said Aer Lingus preferred to cancel flights rather than coming to terms with union to prevent the strike.
