Uno dei due sceriffi dell'aria a bordo di un volo American Airlines decollato da Houston (Texas) ha richiesto l'intervento di due caccia militari dopo aver notato che uno dei passeggeri a bordo era in possesso di un "oggetto strano". L'Fbi non ha comunque escluso che poteva trattarsi di un tentato dirottamento. (007)
