Washington, USA - I Super Hornet sostituiranno gli F-14 Tomcat

Il primo F/A-18F Super Hornet (versione biposto dell'F/A-18E) assegnato alla portaerei Kitty Hawk è atterrato sull'unità navale interessata. E' in tal modo praticamente iniziata la sostituzione dei ben noti caccia intercettori F-14 Tomcat sebbene i piloti notino come il nuovo velivolo sia più limitato nelle dimensioni, essendo appena più grande delle prime versioni dello Hornet.
