USA, La Nato sta attualmente definendo il progetto NATAR, Nato Transatlantic Advanced Radar, sistema di sorveglianza terrestre basato sulle tecnologie Joint STARS e RTIP, impiegando 6 aerei, possibilmente A321, equipaggiati con 12 work stations, 18 computer racks, 304 LRU. La Northrop Grumman partecipa al progetto di sviluppo.
