The launch of rockets from the Gaza Strip towards southern Israel resumed at dawn, after 11 hours of relative calm. Tel Aviv said that in the last 24 hours it has hit over 400 Hamas militia targets. Meanwhile, the death of three Italian-Israelis who were missing was recorded. Israel is considering a possible land attack, but at the moment the issue is being examined by military strategists.

"Unfortunately Nir Forti has also passed away. He was the last of the three Italian-Israelis missing. I feel the pain of his parents, whom I met during the visit to Tel Aviv. Dying at 29 years old, barbarically killed by terrorists, is profoundly unjust I pray for you", wrote the Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani, in a post on social networks. The other two deceased Italians are Eviatar Mosche Kipnis and Lilach Lea Havron .

Meanwhile, Hamas militias free some hostages. Egypt and Qatar mediate with the militias of the Gaza Strip to facilitate the release of other kidnapped Israelis. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the military leaders are evaluating the possible incursion into Gaza, continuously postponed for two reasons: because Israel cannot lose good relations with the Arab world (United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia); and because, being forced to attack to defend a territory that represents a refuge for Jews from all over the world (before and after the Shoah), it will have to do so without endangering the lives of hundreds of Jewish hostages in the hands of Hamas.
